The Cretan pathfinder the Cretan Sleuthhounds is the most ancient race of dogs in Europe, with homeland Greece and concretely Crete!
This dog is native of precipices, plains, forests and the rocks of Crete, it is well- known here for4.000 years and is in danger with disappearance in our days.
The dog fancier Group of Greece and the Group of Friends of Cretan Pathfinder the last decade have made enormous fight in order to discover and save the last pure samples in isolated regions of Crete.
The race was saved finally the last moment in order to be given in the next generations of Greeks a precious natural, live national monument.
